• Welcome to talkingGolf

Welcome to talkingGOLF, the closest thing to clubhouse banter on the web! We have set the site up to try and encourage both local and UK wide golf discussions. Have a go! We've tried to set things up so the site offers simplicity for those of you who just want to chat to other golfers - discuss courses, scores, equipment, holidays etc, maybe arrange games between yourselves locally and nationally. It also offers a richer functionality for those of you who are more familiar with forums.

    You'll need to
register (see top right) if you want to join indiscussions or post new ones. There's one of those character recognition 'things' to get past, unfortunately we needed this to stop hacking from those in far flung countries with automated robot gizmos and nothing better to do than hack into people's web sites!

Once you are 'in' just click around, you won't break anything, the forums roll up and down so you can see what you want to see. If you get stuck just keep clicking the 'back' button on your internet browser until you get back to something you recognise. Obviously we expect registered users to keep discussions in the spirit of the game itself, usage conditions are detailed as part of your registration so please adhere to them.

It's a new site and we are developing all the time, feel free to'contact us' (see bottom right) if you
have any ideas you might likeus to explore. We also offer advertising at a national, regional (PGAregions) and county levels, just 'contact us'. Club staff can be given the capability to set up private forums for non-playing type discussions, another feature we thought important.

Have a go and let us know what you think, or have a go and just chat away, we hope you enjoy it, thanks for reading - get talkingGOLF!
